Showed up here after a very long last night of Fringe, craving a decent breakfast — and was not disappointed. The namesake Laura opened at 7 on the dot and served me a wonderful vegetarian breakfast (omnivore and vegan options available, and with thoughtful touches like room-temperature, easily spreadable butter). The space and its decorations are wonderfully sweet and quirky, truly reflecting the soul of its owner. How delightful and wholesome this experience was. Highly recommended. We deserve more truly human spaces like Laura’s, and less soulless high street coffee retail outlets.

Delightful and quick, I visited on a Tuesday morning for takeaway breakfast. The croissants and pain au chocolate were flaky and delicious, the ham and cheese was hot and flavorful, and the yogurt with granola was creamy and fresh. Recommended.
