A huge thumbs up 👍 and a great appreciation for the ladies taking the orders and controlling the flow. Very friendly ladies and very professional, still calling the customers honey and being patient with everyone. Thank you 😊 Enjoyed the iced flat white, too.

Lucy was exceptional! We were a group of 4 very hungry people… she warmed up our toasties, brought the drinks and went out of her way to make us comfortable!

Absolute horrible experience this morning 19.8.25 at Cafe nero - Edinburgh Airport. I ordered two coffees, one with regular milk and one with almond milk due to allergy. The coffee that was supposed to be dairy free was made with regular milk, which I realised after drinking some of it. Although mistakes happen and I wouldn't normally leave a bad review because of it, I was most insulted by the attitude given by server Stacey when I made her and colleague Aiden, aware of it. Aiden had taken the order and understood my ask, he was also visibly concerned when the issue was raised. Stacey on the other hand, started answering me with attitude, suggested that I contacted CN head quarter when asked to speak to a manager and when asked for her name (which she reluctantly gave only after Aiden had) she decided that the best way to deliver it would be adding a quick fake stretched smile. She was not concerned, apologetic or anything, she just offered to make the coffee again failing to understand the serious implications for my health. My partner and I remained in the seating area for few hours as conveniently close to the airport restroom. After leaving, my partner let me know that when I was away as I was being sick, Stacey had approached him, apologised and offered him a refund (which he refused as it wasn't his issue). I find this most offensive as my partner had nothing to do with the matter, had not ordered nor paid for the drinks and had no interaction at all with the staff however he was worth an apology and refund and I simply wasn't, not even the concern. Instead, I was treated with contempt and given attitude when I raised a serious issue with my order with lead to symptoms onset. This is absolutely unacceptable and potential ground for legal action. Cafe nero is our usual go-to spot within the airport, needless to say we will stay away from it from now on; we wouldn't want to ruin Stacey's morning again due to my allergy.
