Good little spot for an afternoon drink and snack. Service was a bit spotty but definitely worth the stop if in the area

We ate at Whighams at the end of July and had such a great experience. We started with the Shetland blue shell mussels and some artisan sourdough bread. The mussel sauce was so good—perfect for dipping the bread. For mains, my husband had the roasted cauliflower, chickpea, and butternut squash Goan curry, and I went with the linguine. He loved his curry, said it was packed with flavor. My linguine was also really tasty—the tomatoes, chili, and olives worked so well together, and I enjoyed it with a glass of Chamuyo Malbec. We couldn’t resist finishing with the sticky toffee pudding, and it was absolutely fantastic. Warm, soft, a little crunchy, topped with ice cream and caramel sauce—it was amazing. Highly recommend ordering it! We were so hungry and everything was so good that we didn’t even stop to take pictures.
