I had a lovely experience here. The barman was so friendly to us and even offered to put up stools for us in an otherwise packed pub. The beers on selection are delicious and many. The pub itself is small and cozy with beautiful wood finish. Perfect place to come for a nice pint or two. Highly recommend.

I wanted a cozy bar and this place delivered! Just a few minutes from our stay at Ibis Styles, the owners are the sweetest folks you have ever met, talked me through all of their Scottish gins, and my man (a bourbon drinker) was happy with their whiskey recommendations. They also gave coffee and tourist tips. Can’t endorse highly enough.

Fantastic bar on thistle street with traditional Scottish music some evenings ,great selection of whiskies, bar team have great knowledge of the various whiskies on sale
