Man, they dont build places like this anymore. As authentic as can be, both atmosphere and staff. Didnt expect much from the food but it was absolutely gorgeous! Would have given 6 stars if I could.

Proper neighbourhood pub The Old Bell’s the kind of place that reminds you why Edinburgh’s pub scene is so special. Always a warm welcome, whether you’re just in for a pint or staying on for food. The menu’s spot on, good portions, well cooked & not daft with the prices. Plenty of choice behind the bar too, with a few rotating taps that keep things interesting. It’s got that cosy, lived in feel without ever being tired. A real staple for the south side & well worth the walk if you’re coming from town.
