Expérience culinaire unique au BrewDog Cowgate : nous étions dix, nous avons commandé… des pizzas. Simple, non ? Eh bien non. 9 pizzas servies en 1h30, la 10e oubliée. Résultat : repas en relais, avec 15 minutes entre chaque assiette. Parfait si vous aimez regarder vos amis manger pendant que vous attendez la vôtre. Le chef nous a expliqué qu’il était seul en cuisine. Ça peut s’entendre, sauf que la plupart du temps, il semblait surtout concentré sur l’art ancestral de caresser doucement la tranche de jambon ou d’étirer la pâte avec la lenteur d’un moine zen… tout en lançant de longs sourires à la serveuse. La cuisine spectacle, version slow motion romantique. Niveau goût ? Moyen. Trop salé, sauce tomate acide… Bref, pas de quoi faire oublier l’attente. Les bières, elles, sont bonnes. Mais bon, venant d’un brasseur, c’est un peu le minimum syndical. En résumé : si vous aimez manger tous ensemble, fuyez. Ici, les pizzas arrivent au compte-gouttes, la qualité ne suit pas, et le seul vrai service rapide, c’est le charme que le chef réserve à la serveuse.
