Fantastic 18 holes of golf. Fast, well kept greens, with great views across the Pentland Hills. Be prepared for quite a tough walk and to lose a few golf balls in the deceptively deep rough. This summer in particular (2025) the ground is hard and dry which made it difficult to keep the ball on the fairway.

I have only played the Templar course as my wife is a beginner. The 9-hole course is a fabulous wee course and is great for your short game. I am looking forward to playing the 18-hole course. Hats off to the staff and greenkeepers.
