I love saughton rose gardens, which are located in saughton Park. In the spring and summer it is absolutely beautiful, with so many different kinds and all colours of roses. The smell is so strong but lovely, all you can smell is the roses. It is a very well kept gardens and has benches throughout so you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are facilities close by in saughton park, toilets, cafe, children's play area and skatepark.

Still some colour in the gardens at the end of August. Mostly roses, nearly everything else has gone to seed or been cleared by the gardeners
