Il Museo di Edimburgo è situato in uno degli edifici più antichi del Royal Mile (la storica Huntly House del XVI secolo), ed è dedicato esclusivamente alla storia, alle tradizioni e alle leggende della capitale scozzese. Entrare qui è come fare un salto indietro nel tempo, esplorando la vita della città attraverso gli oggetti dei suoi abitanti. L'atmosfera è uno dei suoi punti di forza. Non troverete grandi sale moderne, ma un percorso labirintico attraverso stanze piccole e tortuose, con pavimenti in legno che scricchiolano e soffitti bassi. Sembra di essere in una vera casa storica. Bellissimo!
