A pub which is great for GAA games or Ireland football matches. If that's your thing. Very casual. Hasn't changed in decades. Crooners and wedding style cover bands are the norm on specific nights. Tuesday is pensioners night, where the retired community dance and sing to all the old classics. Which is wonderful to witness. It's a space for the working classes to drink and dance away their troubles and fall out the door, into Macaris for a batter-burger and curry-chips afterwards. It's a place to go if you don't fancy dressing up. Suburbia personified, but everyone leaves with a smile, with mascara running down their face and it takes 20 minutes to pile them into a taxi. It's a place to go if you want to talk, after a relationship break up or take your bit on the side. That's the Lounge. There is a separate Bar, which is a small space for old men to drink in peace and watch sports on the telly, who turn around every time someone walks in the door. Friendly and attentive staff.
