Great little bar with yes a restricted menu but that’s the whole point: it’s a wine bar for an aperitivo and a few dishes to open the appetite

Came here after seeing it on a recent Eater list of best Dublin spots and was not disappointed. Inside there’s a nice hidden away feeling; the design and layout are low light and intimate cool. Tables outside put you right in the flow of things, a good option for people watching. Tastes of the wines on the list are offered but you may need to ask. Emphasis on near-natural (minimal intervention) wines, so if it’s funky you’re after you’ll find it. Also on the menu: three vermouths over ice, which is nice, you can drink like they do in Spain. Prices are moderate to high. Paris this is not. Every glass will set you back in the double digits, which is pretty common for Dublin ITE. There’s a small but well done selection of nibbles for the peckish in your group. Big green olives (not bad), boiled almonds (addictive), charcuterie (delicious).
