Went there last night on a date, staff were sound, atmosphere great, nice bit of people watching outside and even got shot off d barman at d end, couldn’t recommend enough 🙌🏻

Nach unserem Besuch im EPIC Museum wollten wir nur einen kleinen Snack und ein paar Drinks – und sind glücklicherweise in Ciss Madens Bar gelandet. Was für ein Glücksgriff! Lester, der uns bedient hat, war einfach großartig: unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und mit einem tollen Gespür dafür, was wir gerade brauchten. Obwohl es eigentlich keine große Speisekarte gab, zauberte er uns kurzerhand einen leckeren Toast, der genau richtig war – unkompliziert, herzhaft und perfekt zum Guinness, das er mir mit echter Sorgfalt eingeschenkt hat. Sein Engagement und seine herzliche Art haben den kurzen Zwischenstopp zu einem echten Highlight gemacht. Wer in Dublin unterwegs ist und echte irische Gastfreundschaft erleben will, sollte unbedingt bei Ciss Madens vorbeischauen – und sich, wenn möglich, von Lester beraten lassen!
