Schöner kleiner Park, leider sehr viel Müll überall. Außerdem zelten hier Leute und hängen ihre Wäsche in die Bäume 🤨🏕 ....

A small green area near the National Museum. Historically, it was a mass grave for casualties of the 1798 rebellion and allegedly as a burial area for victims of conflict. It is now a memorial park. The park was closed down due to anti-social behavior. It has been reopened and is a lot better. I still would not want to be here alone at night, though. It is not worth a special visit, but if you are visiting the museum, you might as well take a look

This lovely park has a dark past. Located south of what was formerly the Royal Barracks, this area is traditionally believed to have been used as a mass grave for Irish rebel casualties of the 1798 Rebellion; they were known as Croppies due to their short-cropped hair. The park has walking paths and is quite lovely, if you can get past what you're walking on.
