Broadmeadows Estuary, also known as Malahide Estuary, is a beautiful and tranquil spot that’s easy to reach by car or bike. The area is full of birdlife, with swans and cranes often seen gliding gracefully across the water. Small fish can sometimes be spotted leaping from the surface, adding to the lively atmosphere. The Broadmeadows River begins north of Dunshaughlin and gently winds its way to the sea just beyond Swords. Though it plays an important role in drainage, it feels more like a hidden natural treasure. It’s a perfect place for walking, birdwatching, or simply enjoying peaceful views by the water.

What a lovely place ♥️♥️♥️ It was there on my todo list since last 1 year. I never thought it could be that beautiful and that peaceful. Lovely swans, ducks, seaguls and beautiful sight of lush green sanctuary alongside the water. Would love to go there every weekend.
