Took my wife here for some late night food as she was still feeling a hungry after an earlier dinner we had. Turned out to be ladies night so she took advantage of the deal they had. There was some miscommunication by the wait staff on how that deal was meant to be honored as there was a 50% discount on food menu items. To make a long story short there was some frustration when the bill came but the manager was great and took care of the entire situation. Wife enjoyed the food and I enjoyed the drinks. If I could make one comment on the tequila, for a Mexican restaurant to use bottom shelf Jose Cuervo is a bit disappointing as it’s not 100% agave. They could have used an El Jimador as their house which costs a fraction more and is 100% agave.

Este restaurant fue toda una sorpresa! Gastronomie exquisita y diverse!

My favorite spot in Dubai! Authentic and mouthwatering Mexican dishes. We visited Maya and tried the Taco Tuesday packages. You can’t go wrong with any of the Taco’s selections. Chicken, brisket, and lamb wrapped in corn or flour tortillas (in the pictures) are highly recommended. When it comes to Desserts- do try Choco-Flan; a mix of cinnamon ice cream, chocolate cake, neopolitan flan, and chocolate sauce on the side. If it wasn’t for the calories we would’ve gotten another one! Last but not least- self parking is available - which is rare to find in hotels, and lots of parking spots. Well done Maya. Until next time.
