One of the most beautiful theaters in the world and the most famous German theater is the Semper Opera House. Built in the century before last and with a rich history, this building plays a key role in the architectural ensemble of the famous Dresden Theater Square. The theater was destroyed to the ground twice, the first time in a fire in the 1860s, after which it was reconstructed according to the original plans. The theater was practically annihilated again at the end of the war in the 1940s during the bombing of Dresden. Despite this, the Opera House is still considered a unique architectural monument, astonishing not only in its exterior but also its interior.
