If you appreciate "out of the ordinary places...you must try here. Amazing, cozy decor, great food and wonderful staff. One of my favorite places to grab breakfast. Going back this evening to experience their nighttime vibe.

Popped in for pre-drinks from the train. The second I opened the door, we were greeted by the lovely atmosphere; it felt like stepping into someone’s living room! Had an old fashioned and my wife had, what I can only say, was the best espresso martini I’ve ever tasted. Thank you Luke the barman. Definitely coming back next time we’re in York!

Dropped in today for lunch and a cider. Really nice location, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend. Nice wee garden out the back down some quite steep stairs, but totally worth it. We had 2 pastrami sandwiches, a bacon sandwich and 3 pints of cider. Both staff members were very friendly.
