My housemates couldn’t get enough. I had to try it. Really delicious and the staff are top of the top. The food is rare in York. Guaranteed a nice spot for an excellent experience. Great place

I have visited the Pearly cow On Tuesday, and all I can say is what a lovely restaurant filled with kind and helpful stuff. The food was so delicious so tasty and well put together. We were sat in the private dining room which is took away in a corner, which was a lovely spot just to catch up on old memories I will definitely be back to try something different on the menu Credit to all the staff that made my cousin‘s graduation meal so wonderful. We appreciate it !

Delicious steaks (ribeye and fillet) and tasty trimmings but the service, while friendly, was inattentive and there was little conversation which took away from the experience. Our drinks arrived after we'd finished our starters and it was hard to get anyone's attention during this time to chase them up. Maybe we just hit an off night but it's expensive so we were disappointed.
