The King William is a large community post-war estate pub. There is a large bar and a separate function room. There is a limited choice of beers, sadly no cask conditioned real ales. The John Smith's bitter was cheaper than some of the pubs in the city centre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pub has outside seating.
