Hallowscream in York

I visited this attraction for the first time last year and I bought the unlimited entry into the scare mazes and fairground rides ticket (3/4th tier) for £85 on Halloween night. This year Hallowscream offered a pre sale so now that I am going with another friend and due to me enjoying it so much last year, I have bought the mega pass tickets which with the 13% pre sale discount for £147 (so far it can go up to £181 but may increase to £185/£190 depending on demand closer to the time) . This mega pass offers the same ticket at the 3rd tier but it offers extra bonuses like 5 drink tokens, a Hallowscream t-shirt, a Halloween makeover and a digital photo . Normally the gap in price between the 3rd tier and 4th tier ticket even on the cheapest nights is £90 but for what I payed on pre sale it’s only £55 which is a steal for the bonuses as the Hallowscream T-shirt is £20, and the 5 drinks tokens can be between £20/£35 (for me it’s going to be £20 as I am not 18 yet to purchase beers at I think around £6/£7 for a large) . I don’t know the prices for makeover or a digital photo but my guess is £20 for makeover and £15 digital photo so I have got value for money there . I would recommend getting the tickets early as they do sell out quite fast, but they shouldn’t sell out till around September time for the most busiest days. The day that I go on Halloween night was so busy last year I think queuing times were from 30 minutes in standard entry so the fast passes were 100% worth it and I managed to go through the 5 indoor scare mazes 4 times each during the night. Plus if you purchase the 3rd tier from £66/£85 depending on the night or the 4th tier from £156/£185 you get unlimited access to the fairground rides (which are £4 per ride per person last year) . Only downside to the mega pass is food is still an extra cost but I am fine with that as the food is so good with a variety of options and I got my 13% pre sale discount so I am fine paying extra for some food, but when my group start to get hungry the waiting time was like 30 minutes . I can’t wait to attend the event this year on Halloween night with my returning friend (who has purchased the 3rd tier which he got last time too on general sale at £80) and my new friend (who also purchased the mega pass ticket with me at £147 on pre sale, which sold out within 10 minutes). I got jump-scared quite a lot in the mazes and outside which was very fun and the live shows are incredible . I hope that Hallowscream have some new additions for this year even if they are small changes as new for 2024 was a new maze that replaced a maze that took ages to complete. And the street theatre when I was queuing up to go into the main complex inside was incredible and I saw many times people getting chased with chainswords. Also, on one of the mazes one person gets picked out of around 10 people to go on their own and go through the maze first which I got picked 3 times in a row 😭 Thanks so much Hallowscream for makin...
