EOI València-Saïdia in Valencia

Tuve una muy mala experiencia la primera vez que intenté matricularme aquí en el B1 de japonés, pero dije que modificaría mi reseña si cambiaban las cosas y sí he notado un cambio positivo desde la primera experiencia, así que voy a dejar constancia de ello. El año pasado me matriculé en inglés y fue todo bien, la comunicación fue buena y me pusieron facilidades. Con las clases con José Luis también estoy muy contenta, y es un gusto que ofrezcan la flexibilidad de la semi-presencialidad. Este curso que viene me he matriculado en valenciano a distancia y, si bien es verdad que hubo complicaciones con la matrícula, el personal ha sido comunicativo y me han atendido bien. Tengo ganas de empezar las clases, seguro que tendremos profesores excelentes.

I went to the school to enroll in Spanish courses. In Spanish, I asked where I can apply online. The front desk did not understand me. They told me to come back and speak to the secretary (which was out for lunch) or email them and that classes start in June. About two weeks ago, I send an email asking about how to apply for Spanish classes. I got a reply however it only had PDFs for registration and nothing about how to actually apply. Confused, I had forwarded my email to my Valencian partner who (after reading and clicking on links attached) was also confused as to how to apply for classes. Today we were deciding to go directly to the school again and ask about me applying etc and needed times when the school would be open. In looking for the times on Google, I had stumbled onto many people's reviews who (just like me) were confused about how to enroll, felt some type of way about being dismissed by the front desk, and also didn't feel the quality of their classes improved whatever language they were learning... And...AND Didn't feel the exams were serious or that the teachers/staff took them seriously. So I told my partner that I would take classes at UP as it seems like they might be better suited. I'll be going there tomorrow and will update my review here if my hunch is confirmed so that the majority of people who use Google to find a language school primarily to learn English, Spanish, or Valencian can check them (Universitat Popular--UP) out and stop going to this location if it's so terrible at educating people. Wish me luck. Update (3/6/2025): Sorry for getting back to you all so late. So I did go by UP Na Rovella that day and they were very very friendly and responded to all of my questions directly with very little confusion despite the language barrier. I went back to UP on the 2nd of June and the teacher was still very very friendly. She had me write down my phone number so that she could call me if there were any openings for Spanish classes. Everyone was friendly. The woman in the front office was polite and clear. She got the teacher when asked. So in my honest opinion I think UP (Universitat Popular) in Na Rovella is the better location to go to learn Spanish. And it's way cheaper, like 25 euros for an entire curriculum. Update 2/9/2025: Even though UP Na Rovella was friendly, they didn't call or text me back as to when registration would open for their school. My partner (who's a teacher in one of the public schools here) asked one of his colleagues if there were Spanish schools around town. There are. He gave me a list of schools that wasn't updated since the listing went public on 2020. I've edited the entire list for you all. I cannot post the linked map within this review so I don't know how I can give you all a method to helping you learn Spanish. Maybe if you can get in contact with me by my profile but I don't know.
