프랑스 니스의 La Cucina는 워낙 인기가 많아서 세 번이나 도전한 끝에 겨우 들어갈 수 있었던 식당이에요. 저녁 영업은 6시 30분에 시작하지만, 바로 먹으려면 최소 5시 45분 전에는 도착해야 해요. 그렇지 않으면 7시 30분쯤 돼서야 자리에 앉을 수 있을 거예요. 제가 먹어본 메뉴 중에서는 따뜻한 염소 치즈 전채요리가 정말 맛있었어요. 고소하면서도 진한 풍미가 아주 좋아서 꼭 한 번 드셔보시길 추천해요. 다만 2명이서 이 전채요리랑 각자 메인 메뉴까지 시키면 양이 꽤 많을 수 있으니 참고하세요. 단골로 다시 오는 손님도 많아 보였고, 니스에 왔다면 한 번쯤 들러볼 만한 가치가 있는 곳이에요.

The cutest little Italian restaurant off the main strip with a fantastic menu. There are only 7-8 tables but totally worth the wait (we got lucky arriving around 9pm when a 2 person table opened up & no one else waiting - no reservations). One of the best pasta dishes ever - gnocchi with truffle cream sauce and a generous amount of shaved Parmesan on top. Gnocchi were cooked perfectly - little dough clouds sent straight from heaven. They served the best homemade sangria I’ve ever tasted. We also got the salmon & mango dish and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Staff was so kind and even with 3 parties on the waitlist you didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. I would definitely return (and probably get the gnocchi again)!
