I wanted to try their breakfast because they had a Viennese style breakfast which I like. The welcome was very good and the breakfast itself was very tasty. As good as any in Vienna! The good service is encouraging me to maybe try a stay at the hotel because it does look good.

Best Schnitzel I've had. To be fair, I never got schnitzel at the DO&CO in Vienna (though I have eaten there, just not the schnitzel), but I have had many schnitzels throughout Germany and Austria. I was thinking about it more after I left, and I maybe once had an as tasty schnitzel, at Gasthof Goldgasse in Salzburg, at a time when it held the rank of The Plate from Michelin. It's hard to say, because that was a few years ago now, but this DO&CO one might be better actually.
