Old school as they come, just what you'd expect from a Sam smith pub. Had double 4 on which you don't get in all their pubs. Great beer garden. If you’re too young to remember or weren't born before 1990 then this is what lots of pubs used to be like back in the day... Remember to put your phone away and no swearing or the big man will come down and shut the place and we don't want that. Update July 2025- now takes card payment like all Sam smiths pubs these days. Had a nice lively atmosphere. Really nice pub and always try to pop in when passing through… 🚲 🍻
