Das Castillo de Gibralfaro ist, wenn es mühsam erklommen wurde, eine Festung die was an sich hat. Ohne die Eindrücke zu schmälern gefällt mir die Alcazaba aber besser. Vielleicht auch geschuldet, das man ganz schön fertig ist, wenn man oben angekommen ist. Wir hatten ein Kombiticket Alcazaba/Castillo de Gibralfaro, sodass wir nicht warten mussten. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, die Stadt, der Hafen und der Strand.

Such an amazing place! The walk up to the top was hot in the sun😇 Very impressive that you can walk over the castle walls. Have a drink on the lovely terrace!

One word to describe the castillo .. the views. Amazing views of the bay, sea and the city from atop the castle, pretty much everywhere you go you can spot the views Other than that, not much to do as the castle is quite empty. Free audioguide was available if you have internet, which was quite informative although the tour itself was a bit confusing as the castle has many branching areas My recommendation.. stick to the walls, everything else is pretty much unseable
