We had a memorable dinner at O’Pazo in May. Our dinner featured a range of seafood and shellfish fishes recommended by Renzo, the restaurant’s hands on and gracious manager. Every dish featured the most pristine seafood, perfectly and gently prepared. Our dinner was accompanied by an aromatic, mineral driven white wine from Galacia, also recommended by Enzo. The entire service team was warm and accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful and charming. Our only regret is that our schedule did not permit us to return to O’Pazo for another dinner. The exquisite food and wonderful service - in an elegant and comfortable setting - is such that one could frequently dine at this gem of a restaurant. We note that the restaurant is fairly priced, particularly in view of the impeccable and uncompromising ingredients at the core of the restaurant’s cuisine. In contrast to the predatory wine markups at other restaurants, O’Pazo’s superb wine list is quite reasonably priced. Bravo to Renzo and the entire O’Pazo team.
