I ordered a salmon breakfast bap this morning, and it was fine, and I have been to Yolk a few times. However, I would like to add a point on the preparation of this food. I saw TWO staff using their hands and fingers to make this sandwich, neither of them had gloves: 1. I am not sure why it takes two people to prepare one sandwich. 2. This is highly dangerous to anyone that has allergies, plus and not to mention the touching of face/clothes that happens naturally throughout the day. 3. Even if I did not have allergies, this is extremely unhygienic and nobody wants to see people manhandling the food. The cream cheese was pushed off the spoon into the bread, with bare hands. This is very off putting. The bap was also put onto the worktop, and then the scales, and then into hands. At this point, its touched 3 things, and neither of them was my mouth. So unhygienic. All whilst still being prepared by two people. I did raise this with the staff member and she put her gloves on but, please, in this day and age it should not be asked of you. With so much regulations around food and food standards, it should be a given to handle food with gloves. Quite disappointed that I even had to ask this, but glad it was resolved. Please can YOLK reiterate this to all their staff in all branches.

Too expensive for what it is but very nice and the staff were really friendly. £8 too much for a relatively small bacon and egg sandwich and coffee, albeit the flavour was excellent.
