Tucked away behind Charing Cross, The Ship & Shovell is a unique “pub in two halves,” full of charm and character. It’s best known for its award-winning Steak & Tanglefoot Pie and excellent Fish & Chips, both hearty classics that live up to their reputation. Very unique pub with a lovely atmosphere. Nice and central, great beer selection, and service. Pub has some really cool history and wasn’t too crowded. Will definitely be revisiting in the near future!
