We went as a group of 6 around 7pm and even though the wait was understandably long (about 40 mins), we all agreed the food was well-worth the wait and dug in straight away. I ordered the Tofu Katsu Curry (£13.20 including service charge). The presentation and the taste superseded my expectations and I can’t wait to come here again, even if it is for a solo date. Definitely a hidden gem and worth stepping out at clapham junction during my commute!

This restaurant is a rare gem. It might be the only fully halal, authentic Korean restaurant in Southwest London. The menu is very extensive, it's literally 4 or 5 pages long! The food we ordered was authentic, beautifully presented and delicious, so fresh and flavourful and made from top quality ingredients. We had the beef bibimbap, cabbage kimchi, salmon donburi and fried chicken. This was more than enough for two people. We hoped to try the Galbi (ribs), which I enjoyed eating when I visited Korea, but it wasn't available the evening we went. Definitely planning to return to Somunnan again soon!
