Was disappointed by my latest visit to Pickle and Rye. What was once was an incredible, affordable, sandwich shop is now an expensive diner with sub-par service. Whilst the shake did meet expectations, the lack of a normal plate, instead opting for a basket, for my salt beef Reuben made eating it a chore and quite the challenge, having to request cutlery. I wanted to love the diner, like I once did when it was located near Mortlake Station, but I think my love for it has faded.
