I’ve been coming here for years and was compelled to write a review today. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and put a smile on your face - even if you’re having a bad day. Special mention to Marlena and Ahmed who always look after me and remember me when I come in. Yes the bread may be slightly more expensive than other establishments but you get what you pay for on quality and service, and the food is always made at a high standard and served efficiently. The atmosphere here is great for either a solo few hours with a book or a catchup with friends, so I use it as a regular base when in Wanstead and it doesn’t let me down. I know there are now many other coffee shops and cafes popping up on the high street but you can’t go wrong with this outpost of Gail’s. Thank you Wanstead team and see you in there soon. Pritham.
