Stopped by for a quick bite before heading to Kew Gardens. The staff were lovely, and my cheese & ham croissant was delicious. Everything on display looked so tempting. Such a beautiful little spot!

We have tried Gails in Kew Richmond and Kingston. In all three the pastries were massively over cooked. We like the seeded sourdough bread but it is sometimes way overcooked and occasionally stale. We had a Pan au raisin which was almost charcoal. We returned it and they gave us another one and told us to keep the original but it was inedible. They charge premium prices but the produce is sub par. It is such a shame. The pecan and cinnamon crumble pictured was not crumbly in a good way but dry powdery and bland.
