Couldn't recommend highly enough, Came across this on an evening walk with a friend and was taken in by the atmosphere. The service was professional but with a personal touch, we felt very looked after. The food exceeded expectations, beautiful wholesome food with a great portion for a fair price. Literally 10/10 on all fronts. Will be returning here for sure

Lovely place next to the Hackney City Farm. Very friendly staff and delicious italian food. I have really enjoyed mushroom and truffle risotto.

Some really good parts to this, but let down by simple service/set up things. We initially sat inside but the music was loud and combined with a waiter throwing plates into the tray and the noise echoing around it was not comfortable at all. We then sat outside which was lovely. We ordered and expected a bit of a wait as it was busy, the food came in about 15 minutes, it was however there before the place settings including cutlery and the drinks. A waiter said that the drinks coming out so late "was out of his control" which seemed an odd thing to say. The food was tasty but the whole chicken didn't come with a Yorkshire pudding but the lamb did so ordered a Yorkshire pudding however this never came. The drinks when they came were really good. We ordered desserts and were told initially that the drinks and ice cream would come first then the cakes, had to specify that we wanted the ice cream with the cakes and to bring them out together. When they did come out it was one dessert missing. Overall it was good but it was let down, maybe staff sickness or something but definitely didn't have the flow/management right.
