A really solid English breakfast for a very reasonable price. Multiple places were fully booked, and I happened upon Franx. The space is completely unpresuming, but the food was quite good. The price could not be beat. I would highly recommend for a solid breakfast, and I would definitely go back!

I stumbled on this little cafe on the way to the Shaftesbury theatre and what a great find! Its nice to eat in somewhere that isnt one of the big chain restaurants. The prices were so reasonable for central London - I had a delicious jacket potato with chilli and cheese plus salad for the same price that I pay away from London ( and with no salad ) - had a lovely hot chocolate too to warm me up on a miserable rainy day. The staff were very polite and friendly and the food was served very quickly meaning that we didnt have to rush the food to get to the theatre (which is literally a minutes walk away).
