I went to Elephant and Castle to have some authentic Ecuadorian food as I was craving some encebollado. I decided to try this restaurant as it had a decent rating, unfortunately when I got there it was not what I expected. I ordered as starter ‘maduro con queso’ and it was the only thing I ended up enjoying. I went for an encebollado mixto as a main and the the flavour was lacking, it’s a fish soup specifically made with albacora or tuna but the broth tasted like neither, at some point I had some pieces that tasted like they were off, and some of the fish had the skin(unusual for this type of soup). I therefore couldn’t finish it. Luckily they accepted to remove it from the bill after checking themselves the fish they were using.
