Went to watch Harry Potter and The Cursed Child here on Wednesday something we'd be wanting to do for a while. The whole experience was fantastic. The Palace theatre is an absolute stunning building inside and out. Not to spoil anything about the play itself, but the show was amazing, great actors, fantastic story line and the sets were unbelievable. At over 5 hours in two parts this was a marathon of a show. Part 1 starts at 2pm and will run to about 4.40pm with a 20 mins interval. Part 2 starts at 7pm and will run to about 9.30pm with a 20 mins interval. The doors open about an hour before performance's start but you can't get into your seats until about 30mins before. There are bar and toilet areas on all floors. The only downside was we had seats in the Dress Circle H 29 & 30, which was right Infront of an air-conditioned unit which made things rather unpleasant for those sitting Infront of it for Part 1. About 8 of us had to complain multiple times for it to be turned off/down. So for all of Part 1 we sat in our coats with hoods up which isn't something I wanted to do at the theatre as somewhat spoilt some of the experience for me. Nether the less avoid this area and you'll have a great time.

Theatre is lovely and the sound quality and lighting etc were great. We went to watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Cild which was rubbish but couldn't fault the theatre itself.

Excellent show and theatre. Just wished we didn’t hear the underground at times.
