Very nice place but minus 1 star as it is only 2 room ; 3 if we include the movie space… I was disappointed about the size of it. And as a historian, specialized in cultural history, let me say that Britain has a MASSIVE queer history and it should be given a bigger space !! I wish there were public policies efforts to help this museum to grow bigger 💗

Small but impactful. This museum may only have 1 main room but it’s packed full of stories, art, magazines and information. It had lots of different ways to display information from videos to recordings to clothing. I would recommend spending around an hour there.

A free museum in the lovely canal-side development at King's Cross. A couple of rooms with exhibits about the struggle for LGBTQ+ rights and founding of Stonewall, but not much else. Most interesting item was about Gentleman Jack.
