The statue was sculpted by Queen Victoria's daughter, Princess Louise. The statue is beautifully crafted with impressive finer details and depicts the Queen in her Coronation robes in 1837. The statue sits within a small ornamental pond between the Round Pond and Kensington Palace. As you walk past the statue, you will enter into the beautiful Kensington Gardens, open free to the public, with benches to sit and relax on. There is an entry fee to the palace itself, however, the cafe at the entrance is available for the public to use. Don't forget to visit The Orangery or the Sunken Garden near the cafe.
