A rather small gallery full of beautiful Victorian paintings. It took about an hour and a half to get through all of it, so a perfect place to fit in between other plans. The collection is very tasteful, grabs the eye with the typical meticulous material painting of the Pre-Raphaelites, as well as their storytelling and symbolism. The current exhibition of Evelyn de Morgan is fantastic - you can trace her development as an artist throughout her life and everything beautifully labeled. There are some free talks at specific times, which I took advantage of and had a great experience with a lovely lady guide who provided background information on some of the paintings. My only problem was that a lot of the paintings I liked the most were difficult to view, either because of the placement or the reflections.

This is a fabulous gallery, full of wonderful works of art, went again recently to see the Evelyn De Morgan exhibition, which was free! absolutely gorgeous. The building is in a beautiful historic part of the City of London, really worth a visit.
