Not a bad place but never really go the market much now unless I need too, however their is some decent shops and they have toilets and a coffee shop which you can go if you want too. I visited the market briefly on Thursday and am afraid the toilets no longer exist and have been locked for quite a few months now which is not good for businesses and customers who need to use the toilet, however I still go to the odd stall if I need anything for myself and family as well as get my eyebrows waxed too.

At 49 I've been visiting Kirkby Market all my life! It's not what it once was (1970's) but what is? Still a decent place to shop for fresh food - fruit/veg with my fave stall having traded here for over 40 years - a cracking selection of butchers - a brilliant fresh fish stall (the stall owner comes from generations of Fleetwood fishermen!) - beauty treatments - DIY stall - pet foods/products - made to order cakes - prescription glasses - and others! It's now under cover too. Whatever happened to Bob Isherwood eh? If you're in Kirkby pay the market a visit 👍🏼

Kirkby market does have some stalls, nothing like it used to be. It would benefit from filling all vacant stalls to bring in more foot traffic. The people are lovely, and very friendly.
