There are some restaurants where, as you walk out, you think: "It was good for the money"—meaning it was decent, affordable, but the taste didn’t stand out. Then there are others where you say: "It was expensive and the portions were small, but the food was absolutely delicious." Unfortunately, many places combine the worst of both worlds. Very few, however, manage to offer the best of both—and MeatMe belongs to this rare category. It is delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. A true hidden gem in the heart of Lark Lane, Liverpool. Today, thanks to my wife who only eats Halal, I found out they also have a small selection of Halal chicken. The options were limited, but even that was enough to impress her with the taste—enough for her to actually say, “This is delicious.” (That hardly ever happens. She’s an amazing cook and usually a tough one to impress! 😄)
