Strawberry Field is a tranquil garden. Immortalised by the song, It is a popular place for beatles fans to be photographed at the famous gates. There is a nice cafe with plenty of free parking. There is a small museum for which there is an entrance fee with the piano that john lennon wrote imagine on.

We visited today, myself, my husband and my mum and dad. My parents grew up in Anfield and know Liverpool history well but they both learnt a lot. A well thought out exhibition and audio visual tour together with lovely gardens both with Beatles memorabilia. A lovely cafe and shop too. A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a few hours we all enjoyed it. A special mention to Chantelle (I think) who was very kind, helpful and welcoming to us all. In fact all the staff we came across were lovely.
