As a Kenyan citizen living in Germany, Jikoni truly is a home away from home. I love the Kenyan aesthetic of the restaurant, the warm vibrant colors and art that provides a sense of ‘home’. Not forgetting, the diverse African music that is played in the background as you enjoy your meal, it is both loud and quiet enough enabling you to hold conversations over your meal or even read a book as you sip on your coffee. The staff at jikoni are very warm and welcoming. They are keen to all their customers needs especially when it comes to providing further information on the meals listed on the menu. Including modifications that you might need according to your personal preferences. They provide a wide range of Kenyan cuisine and drinks. My personal favorite is the Ugali and chicken combo 😍 that I religiously have as a returning customer. I also enjoy their Kenyan coffee blend, tea and sugarcane juice. I would recommend this restaurant over and over. It’s a 10/10 for me. karibu jikoni! 🇰🇪🇰🇪
