Brilliant bar in the centre of town. We went for the Blues jam (alternate Tuesdays). Beers were excellent - the houseband were tight and skilled. A good selection of musicians in the crowd including yours truly on vocals and harmonica. Very friendly bar staff and customers. A must visit for blues music fans. Beautiful interior. Great night.

Nice bar but unfortunately staff sold us pints 5 min before closing time knowing full well that they would kick us out soon and weren’t allowed to give us plastic cup for our drinks, unlike every other place in Europe and every other place we’ve been to in Scotland. When suggested to warn tourists next time they replied that it’s our job to know to know every rule and law in Scotland, rather than their job to advise us. Such a shame…
