Very busy when schools are off and the weather is good, but only in the child areas, the trails are still quiet. Very quiet when it's wet. Has interesting walks if you like to walk your dog. Waterfalls, woods and burns keep a dog interested. Hidden walks for the more experienced Finalystone walkers. Lots of activities for the kids though, so great for young families. Cafe is perfect for a takeaway coffee. New dog park and extended trails make it super dog friendly!!

This is our 3rd visit, and we always love it here. My daughter (5) really loves exploring the woods and “finding” all the cool play spots. It really feels like an adventure! This time we paid £2 to go and see the animals which was well worth it. There are pigs, guinea pigs (which we got to hold), rabbits, lambs, alpacas, Shetland ponies. The guide was lovely and told us lots of info and facts, getting the kids involved etc. Cafe does the job, limited options but we all got something we liked. Iced coffee was nice on a hot day & icecream is always a hit. We will definitely be back.
