Waited in line for half an hour and it was well worth it, the sandwiches are MASSIVE and were absolutely delicious. It’s run by a small team and they pack so much care and love into these sandwiches, we had the La Golosona and the La Firenze. Make this one of your stops in Florence!

I visited here because of the social media buzz. The owner of the shop made my sandwich. I was singing a little as he worked, and he has an amazing singing voice! His daughter helped me and was very, very nice and friendly. I ordered the sandwich the owner recommended. It was 8€ and it was HUGE! There are no small size sandwiches. I asked for it too be cut in quarters, but they refused and only cut it in half. It's a simple request and costs nothing, so I think they should have honored my small request. Anyway, it was a good value and a good price. The wait was only a few minutes. The line moved quickly. It's best to order this for takeaway. I don't recall seeing any seating. No restroom.
