Jedná se o velmi dobře zachovalé pozůstatky římských lázní z 1. století n. l., které ukazují, jak pokročilá byla tehdejší architektura a technika. Prostor je pěkně upravený a návštěvník si může prohlédnout jednotlivé části term — od šaten přes tepidarium až po velký bazén. Velmi mě zaujalo i to, jak Římané řešili vytápění pomocí systému hypokaustu (duté podlahy, kde proudil horký vzduch). Celé místo má příjemnou atmosféru a je skvělé, že se nachází přímo v centru Méridy, takže je snadno dostupné. Navíc je zde i informační tabule, kde se dozvíte více o historii a fungování term.
