Stepped into Westsider with my sister just needing to use the toilet, and the kind lady inside—possibly the owner—welcomed us in with so much warmth, even though we weren’t customers. That small act of kindness really stuck with us. The place had such a lively, welcoming vibe—people laughing over bingo, others getting competitive with darts. Proper buzzing atmosphere! Definitely somewhere I’d love to come back to properly next time.

good community pub with friendly staff and patrons. agree with a previous review that this is a nice place especially for new residents and immigrants to mingle with the local wester hailes community. cheap pints too 👌
