Small venue with friendly bar staff. No draughty beers but three canned varieties. The problem is that it is much, much too loud. I’ve been to >50 concert venues and this is the loudest. You absolutely need hearing protection, which means you don’t hear the music as well. I was lucky enough that someone lent me some. Without it I would have left soon after the music started due to sheer discomfort and risk of hearing damage. The bar should at least sell or give away disposable hearing protection. This is what Sneaky Pete’s does, and the music there is not as loud. I think it’s something to do with the acoustic noise from the drums being so loud in this space that all other instruments are turned up to 11…

This is a great wee venue. Cheap bar prices as it's a student union and lovely staff. Been here 3 times in last year for a private hired event and can honestly say it's one of the best venues I go to. Small, intimate and well worth the visit. Kudos to all the hardworking staff. Can't wait to return 🙌🔥❤️
