Pare it back, small pokey cluttered bar, fake oirish theme pub, good Guinness , there is never a need for a load of crap screwed to the ceiling, remove that, clear the window, take the dirty empty glasses off the bar and widen a few door opes and it could be a nice place for a pint. Less is more.
